I am quite ready for fall. Yep, I said it and meant it. I may love the sunshine and adore the long days of summer, but I'm ready for a bit of change. Here just are a few of my reasons that the weather could begin behaving like late September and I would not complain:
1. My refrigerator is currently housing over 2 dozen apples that would be just perfect for a homemade apple pie. And to me, this treat seems much more appealing when the air is cool and the leaves are warm colors.
2. I just bought a pair of boots and two pairs of wonderfully cozy, cable knit stocking-socks from target today. (Yes, perhaps a bit premature, but here's to wishful thinking...)
3. I want desperately to have a picnic in this cute little park by school. It would be perfect in cool weather, complete with quilts, hot chocolate, and snuggling.
4. My scarves are lonely.
5. I think the clouds get prettier (and fluffier) when the weather starts to change.
6. When the air gets cool there's nothing better than giving the AC a break and driving with the windows down and listening to pretty melodies.
7. Cool weather promotes baking, snuggling, warm drinks, long walks, and love - what could be better!
