cupcake update

So I decided to give the cupcakes another go this morning. I have some good news. I have some bad news. I used my second recipe but added oil, only 2/3 of the flour that it called for, and baked them for about 3 minutes less than last time.

The good news: They taste AMAZING! Just sweet and buttery enough to balance the chocolate, but not too rich and the texture - super fluffy and moist. Finally!

The bad news: They collapsed in the middle while cooling and shrunk to about half of their in-oven size.

According to my cookbook's problem solving manual, this happened because I either added "too much leavening, too much liquid, or under-baking."
