Date: A (hopefully) partly sunny, slightly cool, May 15th
Venue: Outdoors, situated on the 3 acres of land surrounding my aunt's country home
Inspiration: Spring picnic in a field of wild-flowers - simple, warm, organic.
Colors: That yellow shade found in wild daisies, sunshine, and lemon-aid. Accents of a sun-bleached navy/oceany blue, and all shades and textures of neutrals - linen, muslin, and twine.
Food: Homemade pies, cheeses, fruit, french bread, lemon aid, and of course. . . sweet tea. All the quintessential foods of a summer picnic.
