A few months ago a did a quick tutorial on hanging a set of frames, and included a little family history to go along with it. Well, at the time, the frame designated for my parents was empty while I waited for my mom to find her black and white photo of choice. Happily, the frame has recently been filled and I thought I’d share with you guys this fantastic old photo of them when they were dating and tidbit about why this one has such a special spot in our new home.

{They were just dating here, but got hitched young and as long as I can remember have been so so in love.}

 My mom is the most talented person I know... an incredible artist, a wonderful listener and one of my dearest friends. She had me when she was just 20 and dedicated the next 18 years of her life to giving me the best education I could have asked for. She taught me how to sew, plant, cook, paint, and be proud of exactly who I am. 

My dad - just like poppa - can build anything and has this knack for making everyday life feel as fun as Disney World. He’s the most loving, encouraging, selfless guy in the world and I got lucky enough to have him as a dad.
