happy birthday hubby!

I’m technically a bit late on this post... his actual birthday was Wednesday, but around here, we think special people are worth celebrating for an entire week at least. So we party on...

Here are a few of my favorite shots of the festivities:

{I made these tissue paper pompom things.. they just never seemed to quite turn out like the ones in Martha Stewart’s pictures... so stopped listening to her. I now double the amount of tissue paper that she says to use and I think they’re looking quite a lot better than my pompoms of old.}

{HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! My parents scored J this sa-weeet grill that he adores... can’t you just see the love in his silhouette?}

{By the way, upon stepping into our extra soft grassed backyard I realized that husband’s lawn care techniques are not too shabby... Rock on you master of the lawn!}
