I intentionally failed to set my alarm this morning for the first time in 2 weeks, and morning has never seemed so lovely.

In fact, I even found a little surprise in the not-usually-lovely taking out of the trash. Yep. I found these on the way. Are they not just adorable? I had to take a picture of them, and in this one, they all seem to have they own little personalities. My favorite is the really tall one in the corner.

And on to the prospect of fabulous weekend (dare I mention, Fall Break!) plans...

Something I've been anticipating for nearly a week now is the possibility of a camping trip. The idea arose during a Saturday night conversation (with my sweet friend Audra) while the guys were engrossed in a Guitar Hero battle. And it is official! The camping trip is on against all odds and I am thrilled!

I can't explain precisely what it is about camping in general that is so appealing to me. I wouldn't consider myself to be outdoorsy exactly. I like comfortable temperatures and cooking in a kitchen and sleeping in my swinging bed... yet I would venture to say that I may just like the occasional adventure even more.

Top 3 things I am thoroughly excited about:
1. Pumpkin carving on our campsite
2. Grilling dinner over a campfire... (and need I mention s'mores for dessert!!!)
3. Playing board games inside of a tent- this one will be a first for me!

I am sure there will be an abundance of interesting stories to tell before it's all over... pictures (and stories) to come...
