Long story short: ripping hot glued rope off of my beloved, newly refurbished mirror frame wasn’t half bad! To my utter shock and surprise, the paint remained fully intact (which I credit mainly to our paint of choice - a satin, paint + primer in one from Behr - but also to my ever forgiving hot glue gun).
{i was breathing a huge sigh of relief at this point}
{suffering some minor nicks, but thankfully this is the worst of it}
{nothing a little acrylic can’t fix}
{ta-da!!!! restored to its former glory}
