You all remember way back in the day when we first put a contract on Willow and I made that fancy list about all the things we were willing to tackle ourselves and all the things we were totally intimidated by?
It’s been while... Well, on the “intimidated” list we included major bathroom makeovers and thought we were totally lucky to have found all the bathrooms in our new home in such great shape. Please. You know how they say “love is blind”... well we must have been thoroughly infatuated at the very least to have not noticed such glaring problems with our half-bath.
{a three-way dressing room style mirror in the bathroom... opposite the toilet. I’ll give you a minute to put those together... still haven’t connected the dots? Check out this detailed post on why it’s just plain a bad idea.}
So after all that demolition, I am so proud to say that we have crossed "bathroom makeovers" off our “intimidated by” list and are proud owners of new and improved half bath - diy’d it all the way! The only thing that remained from this one was the toilet...
{of course, there was bound to be curve ball which happened to be a gaping hole in the wall. Sometimes you can’t reasonably take a shortcut...
{and other times you can... :) }
Best of all, the whole project cost under $100
