I’m in the process of turning some of my favorites into a (hopefully) easily-to-navigate 1st grade library... which means lots of labeling (by AR level, theme, title, and author). I think my spreadsheet is totaling around the 190 mark at the moment, which I consider an enormous blessing and success. The collection has grown over years of hunting through yard sales, thrift stores, book fairs, and even good ole’ amazon for the best of the best.
Do you have a childhood favorite or two?
If so, do share! I’m still looking to add a few like Molly Lou Mellon, Cricket in Times Square, The Kissing Hand, and Boxcar Children...
Any others I should add to the list?
