remembering

With my little one already three months, I’ve been thinking a lot lately about the day he was born. So many things I learned and loved. I wish I had documented more of it.

I found this beautiful video today and it made me even more overjoyed and grateful, reflecting on Eli’s home birth. It also makes me look forward to doing it again one of these days.

//that part after he’s born where she’s snuggling him and kisses his nose… ah. It just gets me. E was born in the water too and remember holding him close, surrounded by warmth and I couldn’t stop kissing his sweet little face. What a happy happy day.
