right now

Making : a patio! Okay fine. I’m not the one making it… But J and the guys birthday gifted me with it and I’m SO excited. I’m just dreaming of hanging Christmas light from those glorious rafters.
Cooking : cinnamon cranberry oatmeal cookies and french bread
Reading: Vaccine Illusion and Elizabeth Pantly’s No-Cry Sleep Solution. Both on kindle. Both so good
Wanting: down time with the family. It seems like the past month any extra time we have is spent on one of the thousand projects we have going on. I can’t even remember the last time we watched a movie!
Looking: forward to our homebirth reunion tomorrow.
Playing: Capital Cities and the Lumineers on repeat
Wasting: not a single opportunity to hold my little guy… he’s growing up so fast. I printed some newborn pics the other day for J’s office and he looks so different it makes heart ache a little. These minute are passing at lightening speed so I’m trying my best to soak in each one before it’s passed me by.
Sewing: on my ring sling… just bought new rings for it and am so excited to try it out.
Wishing: for this weather to stay exactly like its been for the past three day. indigo skies, big puffy clouds, warm sun and chilly breeze.
Enjoying: our walks every morning and night.
Waiting: for Tuesday to get here! It’s not fall until I’ve been to Hazel KY.
Liking: this new cleaning schedule we’re giving a test run… How has it taken me this long to try one of these things?!
Wondering: what Eli’s first words will be. He (unknowingly) already says cigar, yea and god
Loving: listening to E’s sweet little sighs as he’s drifting off to sleep and that huge smile the moment he opens his eyes in the morning.
Hoping: for my sweet husband to finish this patio soon so he can get his hiney down off the roof!
Marvelling: at the wonders of coconut oil, olive oil and vitamin E. I mean… is there anything those three can’t do?!
Needing: to learn how to use the serger I inherited from from my great-grandmother.
Smelling: coffee beans every time I put on makeup. I added whole beans to this glass container to keep my brushes organized and standing and underestimated their olfactory factor.
Wearing: leggings, cardigans and boots. every day.
Following: Mocha around the house with Eli while he belly laughs at her
Noticing: how much faster time passes in post-baby camp
Knowing: I’m beyond lucky to get to stay home with my littles every day. Not that we actually stay home. We’re a bunch that likes to be on the move. But I love being with them and I love being free to go wherever a whim takes us.
Thinking: about and trying to wrap my head around homeopathy. Its an amazing science and I’m loving what I know, but still have SO much to learn.
Feeling: creative again for the first time in a long, long while
Bookmarking: designs for a Christmas card… yep. We’re getting on that bandwagon.
Opening: mail. Its my new job.
Giggling: With my squishy baby boy. All. Day. Long.
Feeling: thankful

I need to know more about what you know about coconut oil, olive oil, and vitamin E... I'm already a devotee of all three, but I'm betting you know things I don't! Do share!

Oooh! I want to know how you use them too! I use coconut as makeup remover, body lotion, as a deep conditioner for a few hours pre-shower in the winter to keep static down and love it to cook with! I use olive to clean and condition all the wood and leather surfaces in my house and to get sticky off left on from price tags and stickers (like the ones they put on the bottom of shoes at TJ Maxx). I use the vitamin E mixed with coconut as a nighttime moisturizer for my face, as a cuticle moisturizer/repair and on Eli’s bum instead of diaper cream. What am missing? I know there are bound to be some other uses I haven’t tried!!
