project closets

If you weren’t convinced about the benefits of a white closet yesterday, I’m back with more. Here are our master bedroom closets - before and after:

{before: left side of the closet}

{before: right side of the closet}

{after:  a far better place to get dressed...}

{... I can’t wait to fancy it up!}

. . .

And here was our other closet problem:
{awkward-looking and difficult to get things in and out because of its narrowness}

{not to mention a little dark and creepy}

{so I took off the door, hinges, and that wooden strip that goes all the way around the door (no idea what its technical name is)... materials needed: a screwdriver and a wood chisel}

{then I spackled the indentions where the hinges used to be}

{then sanded and painted}

 {And the after! Wondering what I’m planning to do with a doorless closet? Stick around, I have big plans for this one...}

. . .

And the 3rd major bathroom improvement:
{before}

{after... sometimes it’s just easier to cover up the problem! By the way, I found this one at Lowe’s on clearance for just $17 - 50% off it’s sticker price... and you are in the market for a bamboo shade you’ll be happy to know that there’s plenty more where this came from =) }
